Three and a half years ago, I heeded the call of Colorado’s awe-inspiring mountains—a call so compelling, it felt like a spiritual summons. Leaving my family in Cleveland was heart-wrenching, yet an inner voice urged me to make this pilgrimage. Little did I know, this journey would lead me back to my musical roots, rekindling the creative fire within me.

Nestled amid the towering peaks and verdant forests, I rediscovered my voice and reconnected with the artist I had always wanted to be. The whispering trees, tranquil lakes, and the intoxicating aroma of fresh pine became my muses, guiding me towards self-discovery. Immersed in what I affectionately call “God’s Country” (ask me about it sometime), I delved deep within my soul, seeking answers to life’s most pressing questions. And in those answers, I unearthed the melodies that now fill this album.

The Colorado Mountains have been both a sanctuary and a stage for me, a place where I’ve experienced the full spectrum of human emotion—from joyous laughter to poignant sorrow. This album is a heartfelt tribute to Bruce and Paul Choquette, two extraordinary men who taught me the essence of unconditional love. Their physical presence may be gone, but their influence resonates in every note I play.
